Show and Tell...

I've never gotten around to showing the stuff that I do at work, so here goes! The postings below show some of the art/concepts I developed (left side) for internal and external product lines and how they look (right side) once they're all sculpted, painted, and ready to be marketed and sold at gift stores like Hallmark. I worked on these products earlier this year. I've got more to post, so stay tuned!

Project: 70th Anniversary Character Shoe Collection. Each shoe was inspired by the Wizard of Oz characters...can you tell which is which?

Update!

So sorry for the long absence...I think it's due time for an update. So, recently I had done some contract work for a company called The Trail of Painted Ponies. (The company originated in Santa Fe, New Mexico as a public art project that invited over a hundred artists to transform life-size fiberglass sculptures into beautiful works of art...now it's a distinguished collectibles company.) I had the opportunity to complete three designs for them, one of which became part of an autographed series (Summer 2008) - Stagecoach Pony...the other two are part of their Holiday collection - Twas the Night Before Christmas and Wooden Toy Horse Pony. From concept to reviewing the last sculpts and samples of the figurine, I had a great time working on these and I look forward to working with this company again in the future.
